My training started with my father at his lab in a small Extremaduran village. Pretty soon I discovered that my personal development was bound to that of other colleagues and this made me become a founding member of AFPEX (Association of Professional Photographers from Extremadura). I was the President of this association for some time. Since then, I’ve always been concerned about issues related to associations, hence, holding management posts in the FEPFI (Spanish Federation of Photography and Image Professionals).

I specialised in black and white developing, together with my brother Javier who is also a photographer. We have shared our experience in various workshops on this and other topics.

I have a Degree in Digital Photography and Image Treatment. I am also a master photographer, judge and president of a panel of judges of the FEPFI. My works have received full recognition by the European Federation and have been granted the QEP and MASTER QEP certificates, as well as various awards and nominations nationwide.
Part of my works can be seen in publications and exhibitions organised by the aforementioned federation.
